Alabama Justice Institute

We are proud to congratulate Assistant District Attorney Roxana Lopez on being selected as one of only 24 prosecutors statewide to participate in the Alabama District Attorneys Association’s Alabama Justice Institute (AJI) inaugural Trial Advocacy I class!

ADA Lopez completed an intensive, hands-on training program in Montgomery designed to strengthen essential courtroom skills through practical exercises, individualized coaching, and mentorship from experienced District Attorneys. We are incredibly proud of Roxana for her dedication to professional growth and her continued commitment to honing her skills as a prosecutor!

District Attorney Jennifer Bray also had the honor of serving as a faculty member for the inaugural class. During the weeklong training, DA Bray presented on effective opening statements and served as a mentor to a group of five promising young prosecutors from across Alabama.

Reflecting on her experience, DA Bray shared:

“It is always a privilege to see firsthand the talented prosecutors we have across our state who are dedicated to seeking justice for victims of crime. It was an honor to get to know some of these rising stars and play a small part in helping them become even better prosecutors than they already are. As an association, one of the most important investments we can make is in the development of the next generation of prosecutors.”

Congratulations, Roxana, and thank you for your commitment to excellence and to the people of Marshall County!
