Dedicated to Protecting the Most Vulnerable

Because she serves as an assistant district attorney in our Family Court Division, we are often unable to publicly share the difference ADA Jordan Elliott makes in the lives of children and families in our community. Today, however, we cannot help but recognize and applaud her work.

In an especially difficult case to prosecute, ADA Elliott secured a result that allowed a child victim to move forward with a renewed sense of safety, knowing the perpetrator would no longer remain in the United States.

As one law enforcement official conveyed to District Attorney Bray:

“Jordan went above and beyond as the offender’s release date approached. Thanks to her relentless dedication to full justice, federal agents intervened to detain the offender for removal from the U.S. … because of Jordan’s heart and hard work, the good guys won today.”

Knowing ADA Elliott, she would be the first to say that outcomes like this are only possible because of the teamwork, dedication, and tireless efforts of law enforcement officers, juvenile probation officers, and everyone involved in protecting children and advocating for victims.

Today, we are especially grateful for ADA Elliott’s impact on this child, and that a child victim can finally breathe a sigh of relief knowing she is safe
